Oneohtrix Point Never: ‘Sticky Drama (Four Tet Extended Version’

Originally released via Boiler Room as a live audio-visual broadcast, Oneohtrix Point Never’s ‘Sticky Drama (Four Tet Extended Version)’ is now available to be viewed on demand for the very first time.

Sticky Drama (Four Tet Extended Version)’ is a concept conceived by Oneohtrix Point Never and brought to life by Boiler Room, in conjunction with Warp Records – and filmed at the Barbican.

Opening in our concert hall, the film slowly descends into the bowels of the centre, giving you access to rarely seen areas of the Barbican. The journey is accompanied by the almost hour-long remix by Four Tet, providing a seamless soundtrack covering the grounds of cyclical minimalism, hypergrunge and passages of pure silence.

I was able to find this video on YouTube and therefore to watch it on my smart TV. I enjoyed it a great deal. I think they missed a trick in not recording ambient sound to soundtrack the silent parts – the car parks certainly have an interesting acoustic, for example.
